Adding accessory features to your SelectHaus cabin
Here are a few of the most common accessories to be found on SelectHaus cabins.

Electricity and interior/exterior lighting
Most owners add electricity connections to their cabins. Electric conduits may be fitted to the exterior or interior of your cabin. This should always be installed by a licensed electrician.

Air conditioning
Once you have electricity, a split system air conditioning system to both cool in summer and heat in winter are highly valued, particularly if using the cabin for lengthy periods of time and/or in extreme climates.

Decking, with or without fencing
A deck on the front of you cabin provides extra outdoor living area just outside your cabin. This should be planned before building your cabin, so that the sub-base can be built and used for both the cabin and the deck.

Kitchen and/or Bathroom
Some of our larger models do get used as extra living space, including the addition of a small bathroom and/or kitchen. In some locations, this requires council approval, so please check this in advance. A bathroom can often be added simply by adding a modular bathroom pod available from various suppliers. Of course, the plumbing needs to be installed separately and should be planned in advance of the build.

Flyscreens
These can be easily added and are commonly made to measure by specialist suppliers.

A floating laminated floor, or carpet
Even though most prefer the charm of the natural timber floorboards, you may prefer to lay a floating laminated floor, or carpet. This is combination with the underlay has the benefit of extra thermal insulation for the floor.

Solar panels
Adding solar power to your SelectHaus cabin is a great way to provide low-cost renewable energy to your cabin.
